Country Vacation chennai Fraud

Please find below how I was lured and deceived to obtain a membership only to be disappointed to the highest level with the type of services provided by THE COUNTRY VACATIONS:


I paid Rs.35,000 towards an annual vacation package (annually three days where we can stay in their resort by booking early). My membership number is MC 4/167
Though I submitted all the necessary documents for all the family members at their T.Nagar branch twice, but even after one year one year I did not receive the membership card or other documents as promised at the time of joining.
At the time of joining I was told that I will get an additional 3 days stay if I book 45 days in advance but at the time of booking in April for holidays in May, I was told that it was not applicable for peak season. This main condition was concealed with me and I feel this is nothing but duping the public.
Please go through my "unforgettable experience" with them during my Kerala holidays in May, 2012.
The offer was confirmed on 14.04.2012 by mail (by Ms.Kothai) by stating that the stay has been blocked at Cochin between 23rd and 25th of May, 2012 and asked me to pay utility tax for Rs.1400
After paying the same I confirmed it by sending the scanned copy on 28.04.2012.
After wards despite of repeated requests over phone to Ms.Kothai the confirmation voucher was not issued till 22.05.2012 at 7:00PM where as I was supposed to board the train from Bangalore at 9:00 PM
After I received the confirmation voucher I contacted their Cochin Resort and one Mr.Shaji told me that there were no rooms booked against my name for the particular period (23rd to 25th May,2012) and advised me not to come to Cochin.
But based on their assurances I reached Cochin at 9:00 AM on 23.05.2012 and from the railway station I called their resort and the same person Mr.Shaji took the call and this time he was abusing me for coming to Cochin despite of his warning previous day. Again he clearly confirmed there were no rooms booked for me. Though the check-in time is 12:00 noon and I called them at 9:00AM, atleast they should have asked me to wait up to the scheduled time.
I didn't had any choice except to stay in a different hotel by shelling out my money.

Country Vacation cheated me

Dear Sir,
Through this, we would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that we SUNIL KUMAR & SEEMA RANI , resident of REGENT SAGAR ,FLAT NO#-304, BLOCK -’C', VIP ROAD, RAGHUNATHPUR , KOLKATA-700059.
On 17th April 2010 ,we got a call from Country Vacation representative Ms. Moumita that we have won a prize in lucky draw and we need to visit Country Vacation office ,at GAJRAJ CHAMBERS, Park circus connecter, 86 B/2 Topsia Road Kolkata-700046 at 3:30 pm on 18th Apr 2010 and we need to attend a prensentation of 1:30 hrs and then gift will be given us.
We went to Country Vacation office and attended presentation there, which was delivered by Mr. Santosh Biswas(mobile no#919830799247)& Mr. Ved Prakash (mobile # 918100275942) and Mr. Biswas described about the Country Vacation membership. After looking into all lucrative offers we got convinced and applied for 5yrs membership. This membership offers includs 5yrs , 6 Day 7 Night stay in Country vacation and RCI affiliated resort in INDIA for free VLM (life time CLUB membership) in Country Vacation club and for this membership we had to pay RS 65000. Country Club representative told us that this offer is for today only, so we paid RS 45,000/- through credit card(which they told us ,you have to by 36 EMI ) and issued cheque of Rs 20,000/- and signed a legal contract there. Then they said they will be collecting some other documents for e.g. identity proof, passport photographs etc and they alloted us membership id >>DT119-#0355, which is also mentioned in our contract document.
We came back to home and we were looking into the Country Vacation resorts over internet that Country Vacation representative described during our discussion. Fortunately , we came across a site, which details about the Country Vacations fraud and cheating case. We found some persone have left there contact no. also and then we talked to quite a few people over phone and they all express there suffering and the way they suffered with Country Vacations membership. I found more than 1000 cases.
Than we decided , we should not go for membership and I stoped the payment that I made through cheque. Now I have been requesting so many time(by e-mail, phone call , personal) to Country vacation customer care to cancel my membership and refund my RS45,000/- But they always say ” we will talk to our senior and reply you. Manager in Holiday or out of station.
They told us 45,000/- we have to pay in 36 EMI but HDFC bank told us we have to pay 15,000in next month.
This is way we hav cheated by Country Vacation.There are so many people also suffering by Country Vacation fraud cheating cases. My humble request is to prevent this activity and help me in getting my money back. Any help in this regard will be very much appreciable.

Country Vacations Fraud - Bangalore

Doesn’t deserve even the single star. The real fraud & fool makers. The best in worst of all. They are shame less when they reach customers for payments, but newer respond to your queries. They never have holidays available for the dates that you request for. They will find some or other reason and make sure you will get their service & loose your money. Trust me you not even get a single penne back, either in money or vacation or happiness. They only time you feel happy is when are getting fooled i.e, when you are becoming a member of it, which you will realize only when start requesting for a service from them. I was not expressing my self because I feel guilty of getting fooled. But now, I want to save people not fall in this trap.
