My Membership number is CC06DEL10L542 and We had taken the 10 year membership of country club on 29th March 2010 from the Centre Stage Mall, Noida Office, on the premise that we would be required to make payments through EMIs of approx. Rs 3,000/- p.m.. This was only the reason we had agreed to invest in country club scheme and made a cash payment of Rs 7000/- there on and credit card payment of Rs 70,000/- their itself (the payment was made with the citibank card as the officials of county club had assured us that payment from our card would happen in form of EMIs as they have a tie-up with citibank).Moreover we were charged Rs. 10,000/- extra as the scheme was of Rs 60,000 , which again after a lot of follow -up was converted to the AMCs.
However, when we received our monthly credit card bill from Citi Bank, we got to know that full amount of Rs. 70,000 had been deducted from our account at one go, rather than in forms of EMIs. When inquired from country club, we got to know that the tie-up with Citi Bank had broken but none of the officials from Country Club had bothered to inform us of the same!!!!!!!!. Moreover I would was later informed that this tie-up was broken since last two years.!!!!!!!!!! I would like to know then if tie-up was broken 2 years back, wasn't country club officials aware of the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or were they in such a hurry to close the deal and take money from the customer, that they did not bother to intimate us about this change!!!!!!!!!!!!. Mr. Pankaj Sharma, who was there at Centre Stage Mall office at the senior most level, had rest assured us number of times that payment would be in form of EMI only.
When we started following up, we got to know that Mr. Pankaj Sharma has left the organization and nobody was aware of our case. After a lot of insistence , Mr Gurwinder took up aour case and promised that he would refund us Rs. 17,000/- which were towards interest that you guys pay to bank/creditcard.
Again, however we had been to country club office at centrestage mall number of times in span of around 5 months but could not get our even Rs. 17,000/-. Everytime either Gurwinder was not available or he had not got the cheque prepared. So after running after him for 5 months we had decided to escalate the matter further and get our whole membership refunded as with such a bitter experience we had with Country Club, we decided not o keep any further association with Country Club. In this regard, I tried complaining to the customer care office and got in touch with Priyanka Aneja , who asked me to write an email which she would forward to the Customer Care Head as she refused me to give me the contact details of Customer Care Head directly (the trailing mail reflects the mail written to priyanka). Again after waiting for a week or so when I recieved no response from her despite sending her reminders, through Gurwinder 's help we got in touch with Mr. Jha. After several phone calls with Mr. Jha, wherein we insisted on getting our membership refunded, he decided to meet us and gave us a time of around 9:30 -10 pm at Centrestage Mall, Noida. However, he made us wait for 1 - 1.5 hrs and walked in around 11:30 pm AND JUST MET US FOR 5 MINUTES AND WITHOUT PROVIDING US WITH ANY SOLUTION, HE JUST REFERRED US TO THE CUSTOMER CARE HEAD, MR. VAMSI.....
When we spoke to Mr. Vamis, he again asked to write the mail on the same , though we had narrated the story to so many people already in County Club and after making us wait for another 2 weeks,(you can see the trailing mail again) he called us for a meeting at Ansal Plaza office at 7:30 pm. AND AGAIN, AS A QUALITY OF BEING A COUNTRY CLUB OFFICIAL HE MADE WAIT AGAIN FOR 1 - 1.5 HOURS AND WALKED IN AT AROUND 8:45PM !!!!!!!!!! An organisation which does not have the value of time of time, who would like to keep an association with????? A customer care head of the company gives us the time of his own convenience, and then make his own guests waits?????? WHAT SORT OF CUSTOMER CARE ARE WE TALKING ABOUT HERE?????????????
When we again narrated the whole story to Mr. Vamsi , we got to hear such thing from him "How would I believe that Mr. Pankaj Sharma had promised you that payment would be in form of EMI? There is no written proof of the same.............."!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However when we reminded him that the membership of Rs 60,000/- was charged for Rs 77,000/- for conversion towards EMI which is a clear proof, he had no answer. Such a behavior from a Customer Care Head is highly unacceptable!!!!!!!!
We have no clue to take up this matter to whom because both the marketing and service teams of Country Club with whom we had dealt till date have disappointed us terribly. All of them have been taken this matter so lightly and from last six months and we have just been running here and there from one to another as if we have nothing else to do than to run after country club people....
After such a bitter experience , I and my Husband have decided that we would not compromise on nothing less than refund of Rs 77,000/- as we wish to keep no further association with an organization which is a just a bunch of such lousy people. Moreover, since we have not utilized any of the holiday packages till date (not even the gift package), it should not be difficult task
But still, I have been writing mails and mails to these people with no response.
