False promises and a strange company, with no refund or cancellation procedure.
My name is Gaurav, I am from New Delhi.
On sunday 20th feb 2011, me and my wife went to Ansal plaza outlet of C'Club. They sold us the membership of 85000 for 10 yrs, and took 5000 from my Dr. card, and 65000 from my citibank cr. card. A day after, when I read so many complaints, I lost faith on them and decided to cancel the services. But now, the person who took the booking is saying, it can not be cancelled. Is there any way, we can recover our money. I have also blocked my credit card, but citibank is saying that if C'club claims it, they can't refuse the payment, but can put this as a dispute. All I can do is to stop them from charging the amount from my Credit card which they are saying that its not possible.I am just wondering, if there is a procedure to charge amount from customers, there should be a procedure to cancel the transaction and services as well.
I have been into Retail sales for 3.5 yrs and we use to do 'Sales Return' quite often due to many reasons, and I am sure they can also do it, provided they want to help the customers.
I am very upset, dont know what to do.
Any suggestions from you will be helpful.
